Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg ($2,398/Week)
Location: Salida, CO 81201
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), 3x12s (36 Hours/Week)
Urgency: Quick Start – Limited Opening
Pay Details:
- Travel Weekly Pay: $2,398/week
- Travel W-2 Pay: $32/hour
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246 (for qualified travelers)
- Local Pay: $67/hour
- Schedule: 3x12 Night Shifts (36 Hours/Week)
Requirements:
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)
- Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Current AHA BLS Certification (Required)
- ACLS & PALS Preferred
- Experience providing acute care in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Must be available to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as required
- Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions safely.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families while promoting recovery and positive outcomes.
