Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Med Surg unit in Kansas City, MO. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a travel contract. Our facility is known for its commitment to providing high-quality healthcare and fostering a supportive environment for its staff.

Unit Specifics:

  • Number of Beds: 20
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Unit Staffing Description: Unit secretary during the day, PCTs available, unit educator
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts/month
  • On Call Requirements: No
  • Floating Policy: Agency/Contract nurses float first
  • Patient Experience Requirements: Hospital Specifics

Required Skills: Med/Surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, dialysis

Certifications Required: BLS

Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs; can wear black scrub pants
