Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit setting within a hospital environment
• 13-week travel assignment on night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (ME or Compact) required upon submission
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• AHA-equivalent certifications accepted at submission but AHA certification must be completed before start
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local, with adjusted pay rates
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract, at manager's discretion
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
