• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620-$1,700

Job Requirements

• Active Compact RN license or Alabama RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 6:1 in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Comfortable with travel nurse assignment expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Assess patients, monitor status changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document nursing care accurately and maintain timely charting in the EMR
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and a safe transition of care
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and reliability throughout the travel assignment
