Job Requirements

• Active Compact or Alabama RN license
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must meet travel assignment distance requirements
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently on night shift

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to Medical-Surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor patient condition, assess changes, and communicate updates promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders accurately and safely
• Document patient care thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain safe, efficient care delivery in a 6:1 assignment environment
• Support weekend coverage as scheduled
