Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical (Observation) provides high-quality patient care and supports the healthcare team in delivering comprehensive treatment and support to patients with various medical conditions.

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to interventions.
• Provide patient education and support to ensure understanding of medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patient care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the patient's medical record.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or observation unit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
