Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing unit, requiring an active MN RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

  • Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting within a post-acute care environment
  • Two units: Tamarack (20 beds) and Aspen Memory Care Unit (20 beds)
  • Night shift position covering both units, with one RN/LPN per unit during days
  • Shift schedule of 7a-7p or 6a-6p for RN/LPN roles
  • Works alongside CNAs, with staffing ratios varying by shift and unit
  • Required to work every other weekend, possibly more
  • No floating between units required
  • Uses Point Click Care and MEDITECH charting systems
  • Physicians round daily, with 4-5 private practice physicians involved in patient care

Requirements

  • Active MN RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Dementia training required prior to start
  • Point Click Care and MEDITECH EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Provide direct nursing care across Tamarack and Memory Care (Aspen) units
  • Participate in a 3-shift floor-specific orientation
  • Any scrub color is acceptable
  • Mandation may occur based on facility needs
  • Holiday coverage is required
  • Must be flexible as assignments can change during shifts
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
