Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on the care of expectant mothers and newborns.

Unit Information

• 15 Labor Delivery Recovery (LDR) rooms
• 3 Obstetric (OB) triage rooms
• 3 Operating Rooms (ORs)
• 4 Bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• 4 Antepartum rooms
• Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in labor and delivery settings
• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist in the operating room
• Administer IV drips, including magnesium, in high acuity situations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit
• Experience in scrub and circulating roles within the operating room is a plus
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate

Work Schedule

Shifts are available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Floating Policy

Floating is permitted within the women’s and children’s service line.

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided by the hospital.
