Job Description

Take your labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum nursing experience to a small, five-bed birth unit in Illinois. This 13-week assignment offers night shifts and potential opportunities to pick up additional hours depending on patient volume.

Assignment Details

• Location: Gibson City, Illinois

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery / LDRP

• Contract: 13 weeks

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

• Unit volume: Approximately 30–37 births per month

• Charting: MediTech after birth and OBIX during delivery

• Housing: Free housing may be available; confirm arrangements before submission

Responsibilities

• Provide care throughout labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum.

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being.

• Respond to obstetric emergencies and coordinate with the care team.

• Maintain accurate delivery and postpartum documentation.

• Assist with limited Med-Surg duties when required.

Requirements

• Active RN license; compact RN applicants may be considered.

• At least five years of LDRP experience.

• BLS, ACLS, NRP and STABLE certifications as required by the assignment.

• Fetal monitoring experience.

• Ability to work nights and adapt to a small-unit environment.
