UNIT SPECIFICS:
- Number of Beds: 17 inpatient, 2 triage
- Patient Ratios: 1:12
- Unit Staffing:
- Secretary on day shift only
- No techs

- Ambulatory (Telemetry) Monitors
- Client EFM
- Documentation System: Meditech, Centricity
- Scheduling Requirements: 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Floating Policy: MB/Postpartum
- Patient Experience Requirements: AIDET, courtesy, and respect
HOSPITAL SPECIFICS

- AWHONN Intermediate FM or C-EFM

- IV insertion
- Lab draws
- JADA and BAKRI knowledge
- Blood administration

- Setting up delivery tables for vaginal deliveries
MUST HAVE:
- Labor & Delivery experience
- Fetal strip interpretation
- Knowledge of common OB medications
- C-section circulator experience
- PACU recovery experience for spinal anesthesia
- Antepartum triage experience
- Knowledge of common complications and treatments for obstetrical complaints
- Ability to assist with epidural placement
- Strong teamwork approach to patient care
PROCEDURES PERFORMED ON UNIT:
- ECV
- C-sections
- Vaginal deliveries
- Assist with vacuum or forceps deliveries as needed
- Epidural placement
