Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) – Mauston, WI 53948
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Mauston, Wisconsin
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; 36 guaranteed hours per week. Call coverage includes one weekend per month plus seven additional nights of call during the month. On-call pager rate provided.
Highlights:
- 42-day travel assignment with competitive compensation including overtime and call-back rates
- Work alongside surgical teams in a collaborative operating room environment
- Provide direct assistance to surgeons during procedures, including exposure, hemostasis, and closure
- Utilize advanced surgical skills in a dynamic perioperative setting
- Predictable weekday schedule with limited call requirements
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant (RNFA) program or other recognized first-assisting education program
- BLS certification within 6 months of hire
- 1+ years of related operating room/surgical experience preferred
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
