Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN ECMO Specialist for a pediatric hospital setting requiring CardioHelp experience and PALS certification.

Details

  • Serves as an ECMO Pump Specialist for pediatric patients requiring cardiac or non-cardiac ECMO support
  • Manages both VA ECMO and VV ECMO patients
  • Floats to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU when no ECMO patients are present, providing bedside care to cardiac, non-cardiac, or neonatal patients
  • Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • 1:2 patient ratio
  • Required to work every 3rd weekend
  • Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NE state or compact) required
  • BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • CardioHelp experience required
  • Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
  • Previous charge experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Serves as pump specialist for ECMO patients and bedside ICU nurse when ECMO census is low
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Former permanent employees of the facility are not accepted for travel positions
  • Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be considered
