Location: Bozeman, Montana 59715
Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Weekend Rotations
 

 Mandatory Qualifications for this Job

  • Active Montana RN License
  • Current AHA BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Utilization Review (UR) experience is required
  • Strong case management and care coordination experience
  • Preferred: BSN
  • Preferred: 2 years of acute care hospital Case Management experience

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and identify care management needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Perform Utilization Review and support appropriate levels of care
  • Monitor patient progress and care plan effectiveness
  • Identify and resolve barriers to timely care
  • Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support discharge planning and transitions of care
  • Coordinate home health, behavioral health, and community services
  • Document patient outcomes and interventions accurately
  • Manage assigned caseloads and conduct follow-ups
  • Promote continuity of care and ensure HIPAA compliance

This is a 13-week RN Case Manager / Utilization Review opportunity in Bozeman, Montana, with a day shift from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, plus weekend rotations. Candidates must have an active Montana RN license, AHA BLS certification, at least 2 years of nursing experience, and hands-on Utilization Review experience. Strong case management and care coordination experience is required, while BSN and acute-care hospital case management experience are preferred.
