Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a day shift position requiring active CA RN license and case management experience, with pediatric background preferred.
Details
- Work in the Case Management department of an acute hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs
- Uses Epic charting system
- Business casual attire required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- BSN required
- Minimum 2-3 years of case management experience required
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Skills in care coordination, discharge planning, plan of care, and admission criteria
- Experience utilizing InterQual criteria preferred
- Knowledge of CMS and The Joint Commission regulatory standards
Additional Information
- Coordinate patient care and manage discharge planning in an acute hospital setting
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure appropriate utilization review practices
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Recommend keeping RTO under 7 days per assignment when possible
- Former UCLA contractors, travelers, or permanent employees must complete a 12-month separation and clearance before reapplying
- Candidates currently active with any University of California entity are not eligible for consideration
