Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse Case Manager – Houston, TX

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Houston, Texas metropolitan area

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week (5x8 shifts). PRN coverage utilized for weekend and after-hours admissions. Travel between multiple sites may be required.

Highlights:

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) setting with average patient length of stay of approximately 11 days
  • 13-week assignment with competitive compensation and overtime opportunities
  • Comprehensive case management role including discharge planning, utilization review, and interdisciplinary team coordination
  • Work with common insurance payer portals including Availity and Home & Community for continued stay authorization reviews
  • Utilize WellSky EMR system for documentation and care coordination

Requirements:

  • Active Texas RN license required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care or inpatient rehabilitation case management experience
  • Utilization review experience preferred
  • Interview required prior to placement
