Description

American Traveler is hiring a Case Management RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent Case Manager experience and active KS or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Work across CPCU (cardiac step-down, 14 beds) and PCU (medical step-down, 14 beds) units
  • Patient ratio of 1:14
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No weekends required
  • Uses Meditech and Midas EMR systems
  • CPCU cares for CABG and TAVR patients, many of whom are discharged home with cardiac rehab
  • PCU serves a variety of medical step-down patients

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of current Case Manager RN experience required
  • Meditech and Midas experience preferred
  • Prior HCA hospital and Midas case management experience preferred
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

  • Perform case management assessments and discharge planning
  • Work closely with a consistent team of physicians and mid-level providers
  • Join a collaborative, welcoming case management team that supports new staff
  • Fast-paced, constantly changing work environment requiring flexibility
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • First-time travelers may be considered
