Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a Level II trauma hospital setting requiring 2-4 years of acute care case management experience and a Florida or compact RN license.

Details

  • Level II trauma hospital with 440 beds and associated rehab and psych units
  • Case management uses an RN/SW/CMA triad model with an offsite UR team utilizing Interqual for initial and continued stay reviews
  • Fast-paced, high-acuity units
  • 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, rotating every other weekend
  • Float position requiring adaptability to any assigned unit

Requirements

  • Active FL or Compact RN license required
  • 2-4 years of RN case management experience in an acute care facility required
  • Experience with Meditech, Midas, Nate, Outlook, and Imobile systems
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • HCA experience preferred
  • Selected candidates will complete orientation at Palms West before transitioning to the Lawnwood facility
  • Business casual dress code with a white lab coat required
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
