Description

American Traveler is hiring a Case Management RN for a day shift position requiring 2+ years of case management experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.

Details

  • Works in the Case Management department of a 495-bed Level II Trauma Center hospital
  • Unit has 20-30 beds with patient ratios averaging 1:20-1:30
  • Patient population includes Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Unfunded cases
  • EPIC EMR experience is required
  • 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Every other weekend work is required
  • Potential on-call responsibilities
  • Floating required within the Care Management department

Requirements

  • Active VA RN license or Compact license required
  • BLS certification from AHA required
  • 2+ years of RN Case Management experience required
  • No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start

Additional Information

  • Coordinate care management activities for assigned patient caseload
  • Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years
  • May request one holiday off, with a maximum of two days holiday RTO considered
  • Business casual or eggplant purple scrubs required per facility dress code policy
  • Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
  • Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience
