Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians at an expert proficiency level
• Manage complex cases and serve as a resource for teaching and mentoring other staff
• Perform diagnostic testing, complete pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and arterial blood gas (ABG) machine maintenance
• Conduct treadmill testing, hemodynamic monitoring, special procedures, and electroneurography (ENGs)
• Participate in OR call rotation, including first and second call coverage during designated shifts

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Expert proficiency level with demonstrated ability to handle complex respiratory cases
• Experience performing a full range of respiratory care modalities including diagnostic testing and special procedures
• Must reside at least 250 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract assignment experience
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and advanced respiratory procedures
• Comfort working in an OR environment with varying shift lengths (8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts)
