    Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend Rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory care in a pediatric critical care environment, primarily within the PICU and Level IV NICU, with potential float to general med/surg acute care units and the ED/trauma center
    • Manage ventilator patients using equipment including Servo I, Servo U, LTV, Astral, Trilogy, and oscillators; apply knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation modalities including CPAP, BiPAP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, and INO
    • Perform and assist with intubations, extubations, suctioning, and respiratory treatments
    • Manage tracheostomy patients and provide comprehensive vent management across pediatric cardiac, medical, and surgical ICU settings
    • Collaborate as part of a multi-RCP team across PICU and NICU units based on census needs
    • Influenza vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
    Required Qualifications
    • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Wisconsin RRT license required (candidates without a WI license may apply for the Act 10 temporary licensure, which processes faster than a permanent license)
    • AHA BLS, AHA PALS, and NRP certifications required
    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pediatric critical care or NICU; must be able to function independently in both PICU and Level IV NICU
    • Associate degree (AD) in Respiratory Therapy or related field required
    • PICU experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc) preferred
    • Familiarity with a broad range of advanced ventilation modalities including NAVA ventilation, oscillators, and INO therapy
    • Experience working in a high-acuity pediatric cardiac, medical, or surgical ICU environment
