    Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across all patient care areas of the hospital, including the Emergency Department and general care areas.
    • Perform Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, and Ventilator Management using equipment such as V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5, and Hamilton C1.
    • Conduct patient assessments and implement Assess and Treat Protocols across all age groups, including pediatric patients.
    • Provide emergency respiratory services for Rapid Response and Code Blue events.
    • Utilize iStat for point-of-care testing and document all clinical activity in Epic.
    • Float to other facility locations within the health system as needed, with advance notice provided.
    Required Qualifications
    • NBRC RRT credential required; NBRC CRT accepted with the requirement that RRT be obtained within one year.
    • Active Wisconsin Respiratory Therapy license required.
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted).
    • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience required.
    • Pediatric experience required; previous travel assignment experience required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Advanced NRP certification preferred.
    • Experience with Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, and V60 BiPAP ventilator platforms preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work resiliently in fast-paced environments, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
