Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, alternating weekends) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory therapy care to patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilator patients as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
- Rotate across applicable units as needed and work every other weekend as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience required
- Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting
- Experience with ventilator management and critical care patients
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
