Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients
- Provide respiratory care for patients with respiratory disease as ordered by the physician and in accordance with department policies
- Operate with the ability to work independently as well as provide supervision over others as delegated
- Complete paperwork, electronic medical records (EPIC), flow sheets, and charges for each patient
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential required
- Oregon State Respiratory Therapist (RCP/RRT) license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records required
- Neonatal experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum three years of technical respiratory therapy experience preferred
