    Job Title

    Travel – Registered Respiratory Therapist

    Location

    Tallahassee, FL | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Minimum three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management across inpatient units
    • Rotate through all inpatient floors including two ICUs as part of standard floating policy
    • Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounding and collaborate with multiple clinical disciplines to enhance patient care
    • Operate advanced respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
    • Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
    • Document clinical care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • PALS certification required
    • NRP certification required
    • Experience in ICU, ER, and critical adult care; Level 2 NICU and pediatric experience within scope
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with critical care and emergency care settings
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
    • Experience with advanced respiratory procedures such as intubation and arterial line insertion
    • Comfort working within an interdisciplinary team model utilizing AIDET patient communication framework
