    Job Title

    Travel: Respiratory Therapist - Nights

    Location

    Saint Louis, Missouri

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy in accordance with physicians' orders
    • Assess and determine the effectiveness of respiratory therapy treatments and adjust care plans accordingly
    • Provide ventilator support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation events
    • Maintain and operate life support equipment in intensive care units and other designated areas
    • Implement clinical interventions and procedures as required by the medical plan of care
    • Document patient care activities using EPIC EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited college program in Respiratory Care
    • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
    • Active Missouri state respiratory therapy license
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
    • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in Adult Intensive Care and/or Emergency Department settings
    • Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification from the NBRC
    • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or a related field
