Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care across all aspects of respiratory therapy in accordance with physician orders
- Determine effectiveness of therapy and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate
- Provide ventilator support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation and maintain life support equipment in intensive care units and other designated areas
- Implement medical plan of care, clinical interventions, and procedures as needed for patient care
- Demonstrate critical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Document and manage patient records using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college program in Respiratory Care
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Missouri
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (may be obtained upon hire)
- CRT required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in Adult Intensive Care and/or Emergency Department settings
- Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification from the NBRC (RRT-ACCS)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
