Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy in accordance with physicians' orders
Assess and determine the effectiveness of respiratory therapy treatments and adjust care plans accordingly
Provide ventilator support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation events
Maintain and operate life support equipment in intensive care units and other designated areas
Implement clinical interventions and procedures as required by the medical plan of care
Document patient care activities using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited college program in Respiratory Care
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Active Missouri state respiratory therapy license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in Adult Intensive Care and/or Emergency Department settings
Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification from the NBRC
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or a related field
