Contract | Night Shift | Alternating 4x8 and 5x8 Hours (18:30–03:00) | 72 hours per pay period | Every other Saturday and Sunday (approximately 3 weekend days per six-week block)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services during overnight shifts in a hospital setting
- Perform and support respiratory and neuro diagnostics procedures
- Deliver care across applicable patient populations, including neonatal and pediatric patients
- Document patient care and clinical data accurately using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes during night hours
- Provide holiday coverage as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Active Minnesota RRT license required by start date (pending licensure accepted at time of submission)
- NBRC RRT credential required
- NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Must live more than 25 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
- Former permanent employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 9 months prior to starting as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NICU and/or Pediatric respiratory therapy experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
