Contract | Days/Evenings | Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts | 76 hours per pay period | Every 3rd weekend required (12-hour shift) | Shift times: 6:30–19:00 and 14:30–23:00
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across assigned units, including potential NICU and pediatric populations
- Perform and interpret neuro diagnostic procedures as required by the department
- Administer and monitor respiratory treatments, ventilator management, and related interventions
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Provide holiday coverage and weekend shifts as required by facility scheduling needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Active Minnesota RRT license or pending licensure (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
- Must complete Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing, in person in Minnesota
- Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NICU and/or pediatric respiratory therapy experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic electronic health records
