Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, including floor care, emergency room, code response, and rapid response situations
• Float between units as needed within the facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:11
• Adhere to block scheduling requirements and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Document patient care using Epic electronic health records
• Maintain a valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist license, which must be in hand at time of submission

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist license must be in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted if valid in WA)
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Experience with floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
• Must commit to block scheduling requirements
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals are accepted under a separate rate structure)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between multiple units or sister facilities
