Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Block Schedule Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, including floor care and the emergency department
- Participate in code response and rapid response team activations
- Float between units as needed based on patient acuity and staffing needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting system
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Valid Washington State respiratory therapy license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under separate terms)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
- Experience with rapid response and code response protocols
