    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – 12-Hour Nights

    Location

    Spokane Valley, WA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Every other weekend required | Schedule released 6 weeks at a time

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple departments including medical-surgical, critical care, and emergency settings, primarily for adult and geriatric patients
    • Manage and monitor patients on ventilators (Getinge Servo-u), BiPAP, HFNC, Bubble CPAP, and other respiratory equipment
    • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient care management
    • Rotate assignments across departments within the facility each shift, providing coverage as needed in a small community hospital setting
    • Participate in care of pediatric and infant patients as needed, with Bubble CPAP patients requiring transfer to NICU after two or more hours
    • Complete a facility orientation day and up to three precepted shifts prior to independent practice
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
    • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
    • Demonstrated experience with ventilators, BiPAP, HFNC, and general respiratory equipment
    • Critical care experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a nursery or neonatal setting is helpful, though candidates holding NRP without nursery experience will be considered
    • Comfort working in a smaller community hospital environment with cross-departmental coverage expectations
    • Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
