    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – 12-Hour Nights

    Location

    Spokane Valley, WA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (18:00–06:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | No On-Call

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple departments within a 123-bed community hospital, including medical/surgical, critical care, and emergency settings
    • Manage and monitor patients on ventilators (Getinge Servo-u), BiPAP, and High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
    • Deliver care to a primarily adult and geriatric patient population, with potential exposure to pediatric and infant patients including Bubble CPAP management
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
    • Rotate coverage across all departments within the facility as needed, supporting team-based care in a smaller community hospital environment
    • Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage per unit requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
    • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
    • Proficiency with ventilators, BiPAP, HFNC, and general respiratory equipment
    • Experience with critical care patient populations
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Some experience in a nursery or neonatal setting is helpful, though candidates holding NRP without direct nursery experience will be considered
    • Comfort working in a small, collaborative facility environment where cross-departmental coverage is routine
    • Experience as a travel therapist with the ability to quickly assimilate into an established team
