Key Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record
Respond to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention
Required Qualifications
Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Illinois
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduled rotation
Availability to work at least 1 required holiday
Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting
Experience with mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management
Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
