Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality respiratory treatments and testing across all age groups, including newborns
- Operate and maintain various respiratory equipment with proficiency
- Conduct diagnostic testing including EKGs and 6-Minute Walk Tests (6 MWT)
- Educate patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications
- Collaborate with the care team to develop plans supporting successful patient discharges
- Function effectively in both inpatient and outpatient respiratory care settings
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Must hold Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential and be licensed in the State of Montana
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- Must have newborn experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with patients across all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Familiarity with a broad range of respiratory equipment and diagnostic tools
