    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics (Pediatric)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Weekend Availability Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across pediatric patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
    • Work in all ICU settings (PICU, NICU) as well as float to acute and all inpatient areas as needed
    • Perform airway management, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting
    • Administer medications and manage respiratory modalities including BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizer treatments
    • Maintain active Washington State RCP license throughout the duration of the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RCP License required (for immediate start); candidates without an active WA license must apply upon offer and may be considered for a start date 6–8 weeks out
    • Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT, NBRC-RRT
    • Minimum of 2 years of applicable respiratory therapy experience
    • PICU or NICU experience required; intensive care experience is mandatory
    • Proficiency in airway management, vent management, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in trauma settings, Level 1 trauma, or emergency department environments
    • Skills in high-frequency jet ventilation, high-frequency oscillation, EKGs, Code Response, and Rapid Response
    • Prior experience in a children's hospital setting
    • Experience with Epic EMR system
