    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Pediatric / Neuro Diagnostics (RRT)

    Seattle, WA | Acute Care (Inpatient)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across all inpatient and acute care areas, including PICU and NICU, with floating to all inpatient units as needed
    • Manage patient airways, administer medications, and oversee ventilator management including BiPAP and CPAP
    • Deliver oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, and nebulizer treatments across a pediatric patient population spanning neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
    • Participate in holiday coverage rotations; Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve coverage is especially needed
    • Complete orientation modules on the first day of orientation as required by the facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner (WA RCP) license required — candidates without an active WA license must be willing to apply immediately upon offer (expect a 6–8 week lead time)
    • Required certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT, NBRC-RRT
    • Minimum of 2 years of applicable respiratory therapy experience
    • PICU or NICU experience required; intensive care experience is mandatory
    • Proficiency in airway management, vent management, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in trauma settings, Level 1 trauma centers, or emergency departments
    • Skills with high-frequency jet ventilator, high-frequency oscillator, EKGs, Code Response, and Rapid Response
    • Prior experience in a children's hospital setting
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR
