Key Responsibilities
- Independently admit and manage ventilated patients in a Pediatric ICU setting using Servo-U ventilators
- Set up and manage heliox therapy through both invasive and non-invasive measures
- Provide non-invasive ventilation support including BiPAP and CPAP management
- Perform neonatal respiratory care including Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide therapy, and high-frequency ventilation
- Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment including Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, and Vaportherm
- Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Neonatal ICU (NICU) or Pediatric ICU (PICU) critical care experience
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Proficiency with Servo-U ventilator and neonatal/pediatric respiratory equipment
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced critical care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) and high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV)
- Familiarity with Vaportherm and heliox therapy delivery systems
- Prior travel therapy experience in a NICU or PICU setting
