    Job Title

    Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

    Location

    Salem, Virginia

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform basic floor therapies including nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy (CPT), nocturnal pulse oximetry, and arterial blood gas (ABG) collection
    • Manage BiPAP and mechanical ventilator patients across assigned units
    • Perform procedures including HHN, CPT, BiPAP and vent management, and extubation
    • Operate respiratory equipment including EPOC Blood Gas analyzers, PB 840, Newport, ReVel, LTV, and V60 ventilators
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Float to critical and step-down units including CICU, SICU, MICU, and step-down areas as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
    • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
    • Proficiency in basic floor therapies: nebulizer treatments, CPT, nocturnal pulse oximetry, and ABG collection
    • Demonstrated competency in BiPAP management
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with both ventilator and BiPAP management
    • ICU experience in a critical care setting
