Contract | Nights (18:45–07:15) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional respiratory care services across a broad patient population, from newborns through geriatrics
- Manage critical care and general patient care assignments, including related patient care activities
- Perform duties within the scope of the North Carolina Respiratory Care Practice Act
- Carry out predominantly predictable assignments while maintaining accountability to the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAHEA-approved training program in Respiratory Care
- Current North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in critical care respiratory therapy settings
- Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care
