    Key Responsibilities
    • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of respiratory care to patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
    • Perform respiratory therapy assessments, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans and facility protocols.
    • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
    • Participate in orientation upon assignment start, scheduled weekly every Monday.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience within the past 24 months.
    • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
    • Active Illinois state license at time of submission.
    • Iowa (IA) state license required; if not currently active, proof of application for IA single-state license must be provided at offer acceptance.
    • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
    • ACLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (verified by driver's license); local candidates are not eligible.
