Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Contract – Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Rotating Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizer therapy, BIPAP/CPAP, and mechanical ventilation support
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
- Manage a normal floor assignment of approximately 20–25 treatments per round
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment including oxygen delivery systems and blood gas machines
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call shifts (approximately one 24-hour on-call shift every 5–6 weeks)
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current Virginia State Respiratory Therapy License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- ICU experience required – candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Prior travel therapy experience
