Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across assigned units, with floating between units as needed based on patient acuity and staffing requirements
• Deliver patient care in accordance with hospital acuity-based staffing ratios
• Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures as assigned
• Participate in holiday coverage — expected to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid state license required — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Must commit to working every other weekend per collective bargaining agreement
• All time-off requests and scheduling preferences must be submitted upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between multiple units or care settings
• Familiarity with neuro diagnostics in addition to core respiratory therapy functions
• Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling in a travel or contract environment
