Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, with float responsibilities between units as needed
- Deliver specialized care in a NICU setting, maintaining appropriate patient ratios (1:15)
- Perform neuro diagnostics and respiratory assessments in a short-term acute care environment
- Adhere to Epic charting standards for accurate and timely documentation
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
- Valid state license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Critical care and NICU experience required
- 48-hour shift availability approved
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
- Experience floating between multiple units or sister facilities
- Familiarity with block scheduling in a travel or contract setting
