Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across adult and pediatric patient populations in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics setting
- Float within the facility and across the health system as requested — refusal to float as directed may result in contract cancellation
- Complete all assigned education and compliance modules within one week of assignment start
- Adhere to low census mandatory cancellation policy: must cancel no later than 1.5 hours before shift start; personnel may be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period
- Participate in a weekend rotation of approximately 6 shifts every 6 weeks (night shift weekends fall on Fridays and Saturdays)
- Voluntary call availability is an option
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Adult experience required; some pediatric experience also required
- Active Oregon State Respiratory Therapist License (or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting) required at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager (preferably within the last year) required at time of submission
- Must reside more than 50 miles from any facility within the health system — local travelers are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Neuro Diagnostics or specialty respiratory care environment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Flexibility with holiday scheduling (2–3 holidays preferred, negotiable)
