Shift Details:Respiratory Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments.
- Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
- Perform diagnostic testing, including pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas sampling.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response or code teams.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care, medications, and equipment use.
- Monitor patient response to therapy and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Minimum Qualifications:- Current, valid, and unrestricted PA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum 1+ year within the last 3 years as Respiratory Therapist.
- Additional certifications may be required
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
