    Respiratory Therapist

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (36 hrs/week) | Days (0600–1830) and Nights (1830–0630) available | Onsite | Float assignment across multiple campuses

    Key Responsibilities
    • Facilitate and administer routine and complex respiratory care procedures using a wide variety of techniques and equipment
    • Ensure all care meets quality standards established by the department and regulatory agencies
    • Provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care to patients ranging from neonate to adolescent
    • Maintain all clinical skills and knowledge necessary to support pediatric and neonatal patient populations
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the respiratory care department
    • Float to different units and campuses as needed to support patient care and departmental operations
    Required Qualifications
    • Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed Respiratory Therapist
    • Minimum of two (2) years of pediatric critical care experience
    • Current, Active, Permanent State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner License
    • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
    • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
    • Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
    • Advanced NRP certification
    • Must be willing and able to float to different units and campuses as needed

    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Critical Care and Emergency/Trauma experience strongly preferred
    • Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience strongly preferred
