    Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies
    • Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures including intubations and arterial line insertion
    • Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
    • Manage ventilators and perform blood gas analysis
    • Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
    • Adhere to weekend and scheduling requirements, including availability every 3rd weekend and working 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays per 6-week period
    Required Qualifications
    • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification required
    • Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist (RT) license required
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel therapy experience
    • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care or long-term acute care settings
