    Contract | Night Shift (12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across general medical, intermediate, and ICU patient populations including adults, pediatrics, and neonates
    • Manage and operate primary ventilators including Servo U, Servo i, and LTV, as well as BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high flow equipment
    • Administer respiratory treatments using the AARC point system, targeting approximately 26–28 points per day
    • Participate in a structured departmental orientation including EMR training, ventilator review, and preceptored shifts
    • Adhere to every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday scheduling requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Illinois Respiratory Therapy license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
    • BLS certification required
    • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential required
    • Minimum experience in a large critical care facility (300 beds or more)
    • Critical care experience required
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen; position is located on a drug-free campus
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • RRT credential preferred over CRT
    • Familiarity with ResMed S9 CPAP/BiPAP and Fisher Paykel heated high flow systems
    • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
