    Neonatal Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist

    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer medicated aerosol therapy including small volume nebulizers, MDI, DPI, and holding chamber treatments, and provide patient education on aerosol delivery devices
    • Perform suctioning, manual ventilation, intubation assist, and assisted ventilation in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery setting
    • Respond to high-risk deliveries and administer surfactant per protocol, including NRP protocol and T-piece ventilation
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret blood gas samples to guide respiratory management
    • Provide humidified therapy including heated humidity, aerosol mask, nasal cannula, and oxygen mask delivery
    • Utilize medication carts, Omnicell systems, and bar coding medication administration processes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
    • Proficiency in neonatal respiratory care including NRP protocol and surfactant administration
    • Experience with blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
    • Competency in mechanical and manual ventilation techniques including T-piece ventilation
    • Familiarity with Omnicell and bar coding medication administration systems
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a neonatal or Special Care Nursery environment
    • Experience with high-risk delivery response and neonatal resuscitation
