    Neonatal Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer and maintain mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and T-piece ventilation for neonatal patients
    • Perform and assist with intubation, manual ventilation, and suctioning procedures
    • Administer surfactant and follow NRP protocol during high-risk deliveries
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret blood gas samples
    • Provide medicated aerosol therapy including small volume nebulizers, MDI, and DPI treatments
    • Administer humidified therapy including heated humidity, aerosol mask, nasal cannula, and oxygen masks
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
    • Proficiency in neonatal mechanical ventilation administration and maintenance
    • Experience with CPAP administration and maintenance in a neonatal or special care nursery setting
    • Competency in blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
    • Familiarity with bar coding medication administration and medication management systems such as Omnicell
    • Knowledge of NRP protocol and high-risk delivery procedures
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery or neonatal intensive care environment
    • Experience with surfactant administration and T-piece ventilation
    • Patient education experience related to aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapy
