Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to adult patients in both floor care and ICU settings
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to therapy accurately and timely
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license required (must be in hand prior to start)
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with adult patients
- Experience in both floor care and ICU settings required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a travel therapy or multi-facility clinical setting
- Strong familiarity with mechanical ventilation management in an ICU environment
